The focus of this project was transforming the site into an asset rather than a hindrance to the student's outdoor experiences. Within the context of the natural environment and using innovative techniques, the old eroded and irregularly sloping grounds were altered to provide various spaces, equipment, and paths for physical exercise and active games as well as spaces for quiet games, fantasy play, exploration and nature study. At the entrance to the school, artwork and an arch express the creativity and identity of the school community.
